Bold Accents

Design Studio Dragon Art designed this clean and contemporary space, adjoining two smaller apartments to create an open and spacious home for a family of four. Situated in Gyynia, Poland this apartment has a neutral colour palette with pops of colour throughout to add excitement and a sense of playfulness. White walls, large glass sliding doors and light oak flooring are paired with simple built-in cabinetry and Italian Renaissance wallpaper. We’ve spotted a few BoConcept Sydney modern furniture and accessories that really enhance the casual yet fun vibe of the space, complementing the minimal structural base of the home.

The Fargo chaise sofa in a light grey fabric blends harmoniously with the subtle blue tones of the Lion rug and bright turquoise Smartville armchair. The Vera coffee tables have been layered in such a way to create plenty of space for a Flower fruit bowl, magazines and other bits and bobs. These round and lightweight tables are a smart alternative to the standard rectangular coffee table.

To tie in with the colour of the splashback and kitchen cabinets, the interior designer has added black hanging pendants (similar here) in the living room and black chairs (similar here) in the dining room. The Milano extendable table in the oak veneer works perfectly with the light timber floorboards and built-in cabinetry, not to mention providing extra space for when guests come over.
